Meet Brandi Garcia-Valdes, the visionary behind MenGar Media, a premier public relations firm based in Southern California. With over 15 years of experience spanning public relations, business ownership, and journalism, Brandi has consistently made a significant impact in her field. In addition to leading MenGar Media, she contributes her expertise at a Southern California marketing firm that specializes in ethnic media. Here, she plays a crucial role in helping clients understand and amplify the often underrepresented voices of the Latino and AAPI communities, ensuring these perspectives are included from the very start of any initiative.
Brandi’s PR journey started over a decade ago, when she began helping family, friends, and colleagues with their resumes during job searches. Her talent for crafting compelling resumes led to 92% of those individuals securing interviews or landing their dream jobs.
This success inspired her to establish MenGar Media, which she originally conceptualized in 2012 and officially launched in 2020, to provide affordable, high-quality public relations services. On top of her extensive PR experience, Brandi has spent a decade working in the sports entertainment business. Mentored by WWE Hall-of-Famers, she’s seen some of WWE and AEW’s brightest stars rise from the ground level while she carved her own path behind the scenes.
As a proud first and second-generation Cuban Mexican American, Brandi leads a diverse team of strong, empowered women from all walks of life.
